It can be time consuming to read, prepare plans, and try to figure out what you need. Sometimes we get stuck trying to push ourselves too hard or struggling with injury. It helps to have someone with an extra set of eyes with an outside perspective. In my own professional running I use a coach for this reason. Having a coach will help you stay motivated, healthy, and get you out of your own head.
It’s good to have goals, they get you out of bed and lace up in the morning. I have helped runners just trying to get back in the game and then find a goal. In general, I think having goals is good. Even if it’s not a race and just a destination run, staying active, losing weight.
I love working with athletes and seeing them improve. It helps me as an athlete to be able to think of others and be able to help them achieve there goals. I have been coaching for years and really enjoy it.
